Chaperoned the Scouts to DC. What a privilege! Probably walked a total of 15 miles. Even scouts said it was a ton of walking... but my stamina and strength was right up there with the best of them. Amazing. It just comes natural to me and I don’t always realize when others are more tired than I am. hahaha

So... I've really been trying to find the love that so many others feel about running... (and even more so with the new and growing Family & Friends C25K that I *somehow* ended up guiding) ... I am well aware of the physical benefits, and I haven't stopped since I started... but haven't really felt the love.
Then the other night.... heard the birds singing, saw a rabbit dart in and out of the bushes, smelled someones dinner cooking on the grill, had a lovely run/walk with my daughter, felt the enveloping sunshine as the legs which feel stronger ever day carried me step by step through the explosion of Spring all around. My new C25K group ... only in this one, I'm holding the stopwatch, setting the pace, yelling "run", "walk"... They know I'm still a novice, but asked to be "guided" through the program... Ran with my new lunchtime running buddy today. She suggested some Sprint / Recovery sequences; which we did; Also suggested maybe next time doing some hill intervals.... well, ummmm, okay.
