I know I can’t expect the same enthusiasm... but you put yourself out there and no one responds, you must wonder why do I bother... We’ll see how resonse is after 6K.

Sleeping bag is much roomier than last year. Took me all weekend to figure this one out...seriously... one of those "crack yourself up" moments as the world goes by!
Dancing the entire night. Bill says I’m in great shape! What a compliment... Cool! Just have to congratulate my Friends and Family C25K group!! Eight weeks ago, my sister, Sue asked if I'd help guide her in a C25K program. Her son,Marc and my daughter, Katie were in it from the start, Carol joined us shortly after, and Judy after that. We also had the pleasure of being joined on occasion by Nick, Brandon and Leah. I gotta say, this has been an exceptional experience and a privilege for me... I so vividly remember going through the program just 8 short months ago and now being there with you guys....planning, encouraging, watching and SEEING YOU SUCCEED has been totally phenomenal!!! I absolutely know it's not all pretty, it's not all successful; there were times that you didn't want to or just couldn't do it... but whether you made it to the end or are still somewhere in between, you struggled, you persevered and you absolutely succeeded! Be proud! Graduation 6K is in 2 weeks, and after that I hope you all continue in some manner. I would feel honored to have some new running buddies. And Thanks to some folks who guided, helped, inspired or encouraged me in my own program.... Anita, Leah, Brenda, Harriett and more... without which it might never have led to doing this Friends and Family C25K.
"Our life ripples out, and it has influence." Victoria Osteen Final Week with Friends and Family C 2 5 K group. Blackstone Valley bike path. Nice path. Just hilly enough to be a challenge. Graduation run ... an official 6 K ... in 3 weeks. Whoohooo. What's next guys? 10K In August????? Yes, yes, yes!!! Sue is out there every week, battling knee pain; modifying, walking; never giving up! Great job knowing when to ease back; Biking might be an excellent alternative. BTW I've always loved biking! Leah, so good to have you join us. Do the 6K with us. 3 weeks to prepare
126: Hit 50 pounds the weekend of my second 5K. Now how do I stay here???
UPDATE: Pay no attention to the paint swatches in the background... Have another picture next month @ same weight point with the painted wall. hahaha Off to do my second (ever) 5K this morning. Feel so much more ready for this one ... but still in the excitement (and anxiety) of getting ready, I have to question .. What am I doing ? and How did I get here ? Kudos to anyone who encouraged, talked or listened to me along this path that I have been on for the last 8 months! Would definitely do it all over again. Do I look like I know what I'm doing???? This is right at the end... Came around a corner and asked someone where the end was and he told me it was just "right up there". Really thought I had longer to go.... so I started sprinting to the end! Those are actually people behind me! You can see part of the hill in the background that made up the first mile. It went up and around the bend and seemed to go on forever.
