► **WHY** am I doing 5 miles in the middle of the week? Because the weekends have been crazy lately and you NEED to get it in.
► Ohhhh, everything is so stiff, I should have warmed up more (or at least some). Maybe I'll do some karaoke after the first mile. Yeah, give the neighbors a good show.
► Why am I going so slow? What's my pace? Never mind your pace! This is a warm up mile! I WANT to know my pace. Ok, ok, <looks> it's 12:30. WHAT! 12:30! Usually my first mile pace is 11:30 or less. Hellooooooo, do you remember that you're still kinda stiff.
► Yeah, right... Well WHY am I so stiff, especially in the butt? Ummmm, maybe because this is the 3rd day IN A ROW that you've run and also you sat on your butt for 7 hours driving home from NJ. Ahhh, yeah, that might have something to do with it. Could also be the new kind of kick the swim instructor substitute had me doing.
